    We need volunteers to help with administration, the library, instrument maintenance, events, fundraising, ticket sales, solicitation, implementing grant programs, managing fundraising projects, marketing and serving on the board of directors. SOLD OUT! January 20th-The Master Ukulele Workshop- SOLD OUT!

With James Hill and Anne Janelle on January 20th, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at the Cooke’s Portsmouth United Church, 200 Norman Rogers Drive in Kingston. Presented by Open Voices and Joe’s M.I.L.L. and sponsored by the City of Kingston Arts Council. Tickets available at Brian’s Record Option and Tara Natural Foods and cost $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for the under employed and non-wage earner. Children age 12 and under will admitted free.

The Mahones Donate a New Electric Guitar to the Library

Finney McConnell, Roger Eccleston & Katie Kaboom  pose in front of the Kingston Celtic Cross on Ontario Street with the new Epiphone electric guitar they donated to Joe’s M.I.L.L.  Roger advises ” As a result of the Mahone’s Facebook posting https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151292479616202&set=a.160236076201.143075.10725376201&type=1 & the obvious attraction of the instrument when displayed on my ‘New Arrivals’ table, the guitar is already out on loan with a 3-month waiting list of others wishing to borrow it…!

“A Joe Show” November 17th at The Mansion

A Joe Show”, a fundraising concert for Joe’s M.I.L.L., takes place on Saturday, November 17 at The Mansion (506 Princess Street, Kingston). Join us to celebrate Joe Chithalen’s birthday with Bloom, Pat Temple, Linda Lawrance Blues Band, and Chris Morris. Doors open at 9 PM, this is a 19+ event.  Tickets are $10 and on sale Saturday, November 3 at The Mansion, Brian’s Record Option and Joe’s M.I.L.L. (559 Bagot Street, entrance off Corrigan Street).  See events page for more details.
